TeleCourses are training seminars
offered via telephone instead of “in-person.”
Many of our clients believe that TeleCourses are excellent
substitutes for “in-person” seminars because they:
Save individuals and companies
money since they incur no travel costs
Allow for a more “time sensitive” approach
since each course is no longer than 1 hour and is conducted
over
an extended period of time (most often 4 weeks per class)
Give participants an opportunity to reflect
on and apply what is learned between courses
Provide a sense of anonymity to more introverted
participants who may feel pressured in a traditional training
setting
Allow participants an opportunity to communicate
directly with the facilitator and develop long-term relationships
How TeleCourses Work
Each TeleCourse is one hour long
and is held at the same time and date for four consecutive
weeks (unless otherwise indicated)
The participant calls into a “bridge line” (telephone
numbers are provided after registration for the course
is completed)
The facilitator leads the class and each
participant is asked to provide feedback, answer questions,
and contribute to making
the course a success
The format is “discussion-centered” and participants
are assigned weekly “field work” to implement
and experiment with the new knowledge and ideas learned
in the
sessions
